Are you available to grit the roads of Banbridge and Newry during periods of ice and snow? If yes, we would like you to apply to this advertisement.
Manpower Recruitment work in partnership with a large public sector company to provide HGV/Gritter Drivers during the winter months. These roles will start ASAP and will end mid April 2025.
The Role:
Working on an on-call basis, you will cover AM, PM shifts on a rotational shift pattern basis. On an AM Shift, if gritting is required, you will grit the roads between midnight and midday. On a PM Shift, if gritting is required, you will grit the roads between midday and midnight. Every third week, you will not be on call (rest week).
The Person:
These roles are very suited to those who like to work on an on-call basis, and who are available at short notice.
