Summary
To provide an effective mail service for both corporate (official mail) and personal correspondence on behalf of serving MOD personnel at RNAS Yeovilton.
Responsible for ensuring that all regulations relating to the receipt, handling, and delivery of mail around the Station and the security of mail items are properly and consistently applied. Communicating proficiently face to face, verbally over the telephone or via email with Civilians and Military personnel.
Effective use of the mailmark franking machine. Compliance with Royal Mail pricing regulations.
Dealing with multiple courier deliveries on a daily basis.
Deliver out-going mail to local Post Office for onward distribution.
Receiving and issuing mail utilising Microsoft 365 applications.
Training on all Manual/IT systems will be provided, enabling the applicant to become proficient in their role empowering them to make key independent decisions.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
