Responsibilities
Conduct detailed surveys and inspections of void properties to assess condition and identify required works.
Prepare comprehensive reports outlining survey findings, recommendations, and estimated costs for repairs.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance and refurbishment works on void properties, ensuring quality and compliance with safety regulations.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and resolve any issues that arise during works.
Monitor the progress of void works against the project timelines and budgets, making necessary adjustments to meet targets.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all surveys, inspections, and works undertaken on void properties.
Stay up-to-date with current building regulations, health and safety guidelines, and best practices in the surveying profession.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional accreditation or membership with a recognized surveying body (e.g., RICS, CABE).
Proven experience in surveying, particularly in void properties or similar sectors.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety legislation, and construction methods.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
Proficient in using surveying software and standard office applications, with a focus on documentation and reporting.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
