Summary
Job Description and Responsibilities Position Summary:
Preaching and teaching regularly at Sunday and other weekly services; Providing pastoral care, spiritual and emotional support and counselling to members, new converts and the wider community; Leading prayer meetings; Engaging in community outreaches and evangelism as part of the Great Commission; Create culture, environments and training to facilitate evangelism through new and existing ministries inside Halleluyah Gate Ministries; Participate in special programs and events as needed; Engaging in ministerial activities that will enhance the growth of the Church and as may be assigned to him from time to time by the Senior Pastor of the Church.

• Committed Christ-follower who feels a call by God into ministry
• Desirous to help the congregation, surrounding community and the unbeliever
encounter and grow in Christ
• Possesses organisational and leadership skills
• Thriving prayer life
• Fully embraces the mission, vision and values of Halleluyah Gate Ministries
• Must be reliable, self-motivated and take initiative
• Embrace and adapt to growth, change, innovation and creativity
• Use appropriate judgement in the areas of discretion, sensitivity and confidentiality
• Have a cooperative, healthy and motivating relationship with co-workers and
volunteers
• Possess an attitude of servant leadership
• A passion for ministry
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
• Demonstrated ability to understand and relate to the congregation and
community
• Ability to reach out and connect with families, as needed
• Competency with basic computer software (Excel, Word, Publisher)
• Ability to share faith, testimony and scripture with others in order to evangelise
as well as train others to do so.
Job Qualifications:
Evidence of attendance of Christian ministerial trainings required
Evidence of current ministerial activities will be an added advantage
Previous experience in evangelism or outreach ministry (paid or volunteer)
BA or BSc degree and above preferred
Relationships:
• Reports to the Senior Pastor of Halleluyah gate Ministries
• Works closely with all areas of ministries within Halleluyah gate Ministries
