General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for an Engineering Graduate to join our team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary with pay increments over the two year scheme. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally. Joining an established team based at our Oakdale facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders to further build knowledge and experience that will involve rotations within multiple engineering departments to ensure you experience and develop understanding of how General Dynamics operates.#### Applications must be submitted by 05/01/2025 - Assessment days will be held during February 2025 for intake in September 2025 #### If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:- working on programmes at various stages of the development lifecycle
- varied activities undertaken can include design, implementation, analysis, integration, safety and testing.
- gain hands-on experience under the supervision and guidance of a more senior Engineer.
- develop technical, interpersonal, team working and other valuable skills that are fundamental to the business
- Be both self-motivated, act with professionalism and able to work within a team.
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Package applications
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Be organised and able to prioritise their work.
- Be flexible in their approach to their work.
- Be able to perform tasks on their own initiative.
- Be enthusiastic and driven towards achieving their goals.
- Be interested in pursuing a career within General Dynamics UK Ltd.
- Awareness of IT systems and Networks
- Have good problem solving and analytical skills.
- A minimum qualification of a 2:1 honours degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math’s (STEM) related) is required.
- Previous work experience is desired either from short term or long-term placements.
