Summary
General Maintenance Worker required for care home in Wembley, HA9
Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns
Identifying mechanical issues and correcting them.
Installing household appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers
Installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
Fitting shelves, hanging pictures and installing window locks
Conducting emergency audits
Undertaking basic gardening
Negotiating the scope of work and timescales with suppliers
Checking quotes and invoices
Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Full-time, salary up to £14.00 per hour
