Summary

Secure Healthcare Solutions is a complex care provider. Working with adults and children in their own homes - we provide high quality care for service users with a wide range of conditions. We have a strong operational team with a robust clinical and quality process always ensuring the safety of our care teams and the Service user.

You will need to drive a large van during shifts as our service user is an outgoing person. FULL CLEAN UK DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED (automatic accepted)

Pay Rate: £13

Shifts: 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00

We are recruiting for a complex care assistant to provide care to a 37yr old gentleman with a spinal cord injury in their own home. He lives with his wife and cat who enjoy walks in local woodlands and nature.

Must have clinical experience in the following areas:

· Complex Care: 1 year (required)

· Spinal Cord Injury: 6 months (required)

· Manual handling

· Catheter care

· Cough assist

· Nebulisers

· Bowel management

· Infection control

· Administration of medication

Expected duties include:

· Provide clinical support

· Aid in personal care

· Help with preparation of food

· Support with eating and drinking

· Administration of medication

· Assistance in domestic duties

· Attend Team meetings & Supervisions

Our service user needs help with daily tasks such as shopping and collection of medication. He likes days out in and around the local area. He enjoys spending time with his family down in Gloucester, who he visits as much as he can. Enjoying hobbies such as shooting and hydrotherapy he tries to stay active when ever possible.
