An exciting position has become available for a full-time Order Fulfilment Operative based in Gateshead. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary.

FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE:

• Working in the fulfilment facility, preparing and printing customer labels.
• Packing customer orders.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: (Not limited to)

• Facilitating the warehouse operation from start to finish.
• Correct printing and application of customer labels on to packages.
• Packing products into bags / boxes.
• Quality control inspection at point of printing.
• Applying labels Assembling and filling transit packaging.
• Fulfilment of picking requirements of sales orders as per the picking note.
• Take part in stock count procedures (PPI counts and annual yearly count).
• To execute the receiving and despatching of stock to external customers.
• Prepare parcels correctly and in time for collection by the courier company.
• Book in returned items from customers and locate stock correctly.
• Check for damaged or missing items.
• Maintaining correct stock rotation to ensure shelf life on products.
• Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse, following workplace health and safety at all times.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Previous stores or warehouse experience.
• Be able to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer literate essential.
• Methodical approach ensuring procedures are enforced on all levels.
• Build trust and respect from all members of the teams.
• Well organised and focused on service delivery.
• Attention to quality & detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated and ambitious with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Confident and assertive with a professional attitude and demeanour.
• A team player with a high level of dedication.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to working.
