Summary
Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London-based housing association who are seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join their team on an initial 3 month contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.
ROLE: Housing Litigation Lawyer
LOCATION: South London
RATE: £34.77 to £38.28 per hour LTD
CONTRACT: 3 months, 35 hours per week
Please note that this role would be hybrid working.
The Role
- To manage a caseload of matters in relation to housing management, landlord and tenant and other contentious litigation matters
- Caseload would consist of disrepair, tenancy management possession claims, ASB and landlord & tenant matters
- To draft legal proceedings, witness statements and pleadings
The Person
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a current practising certificate
- Experience of working within the public sector (e.g. Housing Association, local authority)
- Strong technical understanding of housing litigation cases
