Summary

Overview - The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team in executing marketing strategies, analysing market trends, and coordinating campaigns that align with our brand goals with a primary focus on growing the Miso Tasty brand, alongside driving brand awareness for Belazu. You’ll be responsible for assisting with various tasks, including retailer/shopper media, content creation, campaign coordination, and event planning.

What the day job looks like:

In this full-time role as a Marketing Assistant, working alongside the Marketing team, you will be responsible for:

• Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions across digital and traditional channels.
• Shopper/retail media: Assist with planning and booking all shopper media ensuring activity is aligned to the rest of the marketing calendar, and delivers maximum ROI, and creative is properly briefed on any assets required
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the brand and creative team to create engaging materials, including newsletters, blog articles, and website content that align with brand messaging for retail and foodservice audiences
• Foodservice Marketing Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns tailored to foodservice clients, including restaurants, cafes, and catering services, ensuring messaging aligns with the unique needs of B2B foodservice customers
• Market Research: Conduct research to identify new trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to help inform marketing strategies
• Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and tasting demonstrations, ensuring brand consistency and a positive customer experience
• Analytics and Reporting: Gather data and help prepare reports on campaign performance, including website traffic, social media engagement, and sales data, to measure success and identify areas for improvement
• Industry and Marketing Trends: Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing marketing materials, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors

This role will suit you if:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• You have good knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
• You have a strong written and verbal communication skills
• You have passion for food, creativity, and marketing.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• You are curious and hungry to learn more about both marketing as a discipline and food as an industry
• You demonstrate our key behaviours – Honesty, Passion, Respect, Accountability, and Customer Success

This role may not be for you if:

• You do not have passion and interest for marketing related projects.
• You struggle with time management, reliability, deadlines, or working effectively as part of a team
• You do not enjoy tasks that require you to be organized and have an eye for details.
• You are not collaborative and do not have a proactive approach to problem-solving

Terms

• 40 hrs/week i.e 08.00 – 16.30 Mon-Fri – these hours are by agreement with your manager.
• Hybrid role – 2 days in office, 3 days WFH.
• Probationary period 3 months
• Annual salary review (our ‘movers and shakers’ are always rewarded)
• 10% KPI related bonus based around challenging but achievable tasks related to the role
