This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a rewarding role which offers you exposure to a wide range of stakeholders enabling you to build working relationships across the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).

The Information Technology Service (ITS) Risk Process Manager is responsible for the ongoing management of risks and audits across the ITS Directorate, by advising risk owners and drawing together the work of risk co-ordinators across the directorate to ensure the over-arching Directorate Risk Register is updated and quality assured on at least a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Ensuring all Local and Directorate risk registers are updated on a monthly basis, ensuring that all updates have been quality assured, liaising with risk owners and risk co-ordinators
  • Promoting risk awareness and improvement, ensuring buy-in within the area and obtain management support for involvement in proactive risk identification Promoting an awareness and understanding of the importance of risk management, drawing of guidance and material developed by the risk advisory service
  • Developing a network of relevant contacts to support achieving the wider business goals, managing dependencies in support of achieving the directorates objectives, and building cross government relationships
  • Supporting the development and production of monthly Risk and Audit MI reports for upward reporting
