This role is a year in industry role, starting in the summer of 2025 and would be ideal for a studying a sandwich degree or a
recently graduated student.



Introduction




Micronclean are a family owned business, based in Lincolnshire, and are one of the UK’s largest providers of workwear solutions
and cleanroom consumables, employing over 400 people. Our passion is to be the first to develop new technological solutions that
change the shape of the markets we serve, creating quality and efficiency for our customers.




The company’s key markets are the supply and processing of specialist workwear to cleanroom (pharmaceutical, medical, aerospace)
and manufacturing (automotive) organisations. The company also manufactures and distributes an extensive range of cleanroom
consumable products, which are sold worldwide. The company has an ambitious, and clear, growth vision and is currently building
its first factory outside of the UK, in India.




The current owner and chairman, Simon Fry, is very much hands on as he pilots the business from its current turnover of £32m, to
his aspiration of a £100m business by 2027. The growth to a £100 million-pound business will be driven by several keys factors:




* The Launch of our Indian Cleanroom Laundry Business.
* Increase of revenue for our consumables business, which exports worldwide.
* Growth of our Cleanroom Laundry business based in Skegness (ISO Class 4) and Louth (ISO Class 6).




To ensure that we meet the companies aims, we’re looking to develop more analytical thinking within the business, which is why a
role has arisen working alongside our product development and research teams.



Job Role and Key Responsibilities



This is a brand-new role supporting our Senior Graphic Designer with a range of specific projects throughout the placement. This
role would be a fantastic opportunity for someone studying a Graphic Design or Marketing with a passion for design.




Some of the duties and responsibilities will include:




* Updating the packaging design to our new template for our range of Cleanroom Consumables that are produced in overseas. This
will involve you in working through the Purchasing Department to ensure that your designs are accepted and implemented
correctly.
* Working with Micronclean India, the Marketing Manager and the Senior Graphic Designer develop a template for the Micronclean
India Cleanroom Laundry Sales Manual and then set the pages so that this becomes the single reference point for all Sales
activity in India
* Working with the GPM Textiles take the updated content of the Micronclean Blue Book and look at various delivery mechanisms to
make it easily accessible and then produce the required series of articles in the correct format and style.
* Producing the artwork for brochures and other Printware as required.
* Producing PPTX files/animations/videos as required for events such as external exhibitions and internal conferences.
* Producing product labels for our range of UK produced cleanroom consumables.




Core Skills




Essential:




* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
* Proven design skills.
* Ability to work unsupervised and act on own initiative.
* Good range of Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint.




Desirable:




* On target for at least a 2:1 degree (or degree equivalent) or above in their related subject.
* Graphic Design or Marketing degree would be advantageous.
