Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Officer SEND. Based in Bedford Integrated Front Door Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub to help deliver positive outcomes for children and young people.

As a SEND Officer, you will be responsible for processing all referrals and requests for childrens social care services, making decisions on the most suitable response based on the childs needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills as you will be representing the front line for all incoming call and correspondence for the IFD service.

Ideally, you will have office administration experience, especially in, Outlook, word processing as well as experience of working within the Children sector. You will be able to listen, record sensitive information accurately and effectively, and possess a good understanding of issues in relation to child protection and children in need.
