Summary

Following the formation of the Future Farm in 2022, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Harper Adams University.

We are seeking an individual to fill the position of Poultry TSO. This person will work alongside The Monogastric Sector Manager and Deputy Sector Manager to run the poultry unit for teaching, research and commercial purposes. As a University, animal welfare is incredibly important to us, therefore the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day jobs around the unit, including ensuring tasks adhere to protocol and assurance scheme requirements. We are seeking a diligent, detail-focused individual who takes pride in their work.

Ideally you will hold a Biological/Agricultural/Environmental Science degree, BSc (Hons) or above, or equivalent experience along with a poultry passport level 2 or 3, or willing to work towards gaining the poultry passport
