Recruit4tsff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in the packaging sector, in their search for a new Production Manager to work in their Liverpool based manufacturing facility.
What our client is offering for the successful Production Manager:
• Basic Salary of up to £38,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
• Working hours: 40 per week
• Monday to Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-11:30am
• 25 Days holiday

The Role - Production Manager
• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring targets are met and compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
• Manage workforce performance, fostering strong working relationships across teams and with the site management.
• Collaborate with the Transport Department to ensure smooth material movements for production.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilisation
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control procedures and address any issues promptly.
• Drive production KPIs, manage labour planning, and organize resources for maximum efficiency.
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Work with the Maintenance Team to ensure plant uptime through proactive maintenance measures.
• Handle material deliveries, inspections, and turnaround processes.
• Ensure full compliance with HSEQ standards, reporting, and training requirements.
• Generate reports and attend site meetings to review production, safety, and stock performance.
What we are looking for in the successful Production Manager
• Previous experience in a production management/ supervisor role - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience working in the packaging sector - BENEFICIAL
• Proven experience of managing a diverse workforce
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• LEAN manufacturing training- BENEFICAL
• Health & Safety qualification - BENEFICAL
