Summary
S. Collins Sports Coaches have a position available for a sports coach at a Primary School in the Bartley Green area of Birmingham. The applicant should have experience of working within Education and have a sports coaching qualification. The successful applicant will be required to have a enhanced DBS check done, complete a safeguarding in education course and a first aid course.
The role is working in a primary school, delivering lunchtime clubs, after-school clubs and delivering PE sessions for all year groups from Reception to year 6. All planning for PE lessons is provided. The coach will also be required to attend sports events with pupils, as well as school football league games after school.
The position is for 4 afternoons a week. Total hours 23 a week. Start times are midday until 4:30 each day. This position can be job shared if needed. Extra hours may be available after a probation period has been completed. Contract is term time only.
A uniform will be supplied. Ideally the applicant should have their own transport due to having to attend sports events at different venues.
