Job Title: Health, Safety, Environmental Coordinator
Location: LE14
Salary: £27,000- £30,000 + BONUS
Working Monday to Friday 8:30- 5pm

DC Personnel is representing a business in Leicestershire who are excited to grow their HSE department adding a new team member to support their manufacturing site. This role is suitable for experienced and non-experienced candidates with passion of Health & Safety and ensuring that people on site leave every day to go home with no harm.

Responsibilities for HSE Coordinator

• Support internal teams and managers with training all aspects Health, Safety, Environmental
• Maintain a positive health and safety culture.
• Improve people’s ability to report hazard reporting and seek activity improvements.
• Responsible for accident investigations and take precaution to prevent reoccurrence.
• Monitor and analyse safety performance and feedback.
• Manage and coordinate Health Surveillance and Employee wellbeing, working alongside HR Team.
• Audits and support managers with corrective actions.
• Support risk assessment creation

Requirements for the HSE Coordinator:

• A confident and friendly manner with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
• Personable and empathetic nature.
• Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
• Working knowledge of MS Office packages.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to juggle work priorities and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
• Previous experience of Health, Safety and Environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
