Summary

To provide leadership to the care staff within Hebburn Manor
To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager.
To supervise the care services within Brownlee court in accordance with agreed standards
To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date.
To ensure each resident's desires are met, you’ll lead with the responsibility of regularly monitoring in their health, care and social wishes, plus the preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plan. This involves supervising different group participants and liaising with people involved of their care, as well as with the residents themselves, to ensure their needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide.

Our ideal candidate

Experienced in health or social care, ideally working with older people, you’ll be familiar with CQC requirements. Ideally you will be qualified to QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willing to undertake training to Level 3.
With more seniority comes more responsibility, so you’ll be keen to show your management skills and take charge for an entire shift, be able to work on your own initiative, and cope under pressure in a diverse and changing environment.

Key Experience and Knowledge - (Desirable)
• Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector.
• People Management experience.
• Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes.
The successful candidate will be subject to a criminal records check.
