Summary
As an Office Manager, you will be responsible to perform the following duties: -
1. Overseeing the maintenance of office equipment and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
2. Ensuring that the office environment is safe, clean, and conducive to work., Monitoring and ordering office supplies, ensuring that the office is stocked with necessary materials, and managing relationships with vendors.
3. Managing office support staff, such as receptionists, clerks, and administrative assistants. This includes hiring, training, and performance management.
4. Enforcing office policies and procedures, ensuring that all employees comply with company standards and protocols.
5. Liaising with IT support to manage office technology, ensuring that computers, printers, and other office systems are functioning properly.
The following skills are essential:-
1. Ability to keep the office running smoothly, including managing schedules, supplies, and office procedures.
2. Proficient in both written and verbal communication to interact with staff, vendors, and clients effectively.
3. Capable of managing and motivating office staff, as well as resolving conflicts., Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
4. Quick thinking and resourcefulness to address office-related issues as they arise., Understanding of basic human resources functions, such as onboarding, employee records management, and compliance with labour laws.
5. Ability to adjust to changing office environments and unexpected challenges.
Experience: Between 2 – 5 years in a similar position or a related administrative role.
Qualification: At least level GCSE A* - C or a degree or similar/equivalent qualification.
