Summary
A Live-in Nanny is needed by this wonderful family in Leicester, Leicestershire to help them in looking after their school-aged child. They have a happy, active, and curious school-aged child who will be the primary focus of care. With a separate housekeeper employed, the nanny will only need to handle light housekeeping duties, allowing more attention to be devoted to the child’s needs and development. Responsibilities include preparing meals for the child and ensuring his dietary needs are met. The role also involves travel, as the family frequently visits Spain and various cities across Europe. All travel will be communicated in advance to ensure proper planning. The family owns a dog so someone pet-friendly is ideal but is not a must. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license is required and the family are happy to provide a car.
They prefer someone who has an excellent English-skills. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for 50 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Occasional babysitting and help during the weekend will be required with previous notice.
Accommodation: 2 Bedroom Annexe
Duties include:
making sure the child is up early in the morning
preparing healthy breakfast and snacks
washing and dressing their child
helping with homework
doing after school activities with the child
preparing recreational activities that will boost the child’s physical and mental development
messy play with the child
maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the child
doing arts and crafts
taking their child to parks and playgrounds
feeding the child and helping with the bedtime routine
