An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring and dedicated TA to join our team of professionals supporting children with SEN (SLCN) within our Specialist Resourced Provision. Even Swindon Primary School is a large, popular school with 680 children on roll aged 2 - 11 including a Special Resourced Provision for 17 children with SLCN. We are looking a caring, highly motivated and dedicated practitioner who is able to demonstrate consistently high standards. They will have skills of empathy, listening, and excellent communication skills and be able to respond with appropriate language to build a rapport with children, carers and colleagues. The successful candidate will ideally have some previous experience of working with children who have SLCN. They will also have an understanding of how children learn most effectively, be a team player with good interpersonal skills, and be committed to high standards of behaviour and achievement. Some experience of using signalong is preferred, although training will be available.
