Senior Care Worker (Children's Residential Service)

Salary: £31,000 per annum

Please note our client does not offer Tier 2 Sponsorship

As a Senior Care Worker, you will act as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes growth and resilience. Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals, you will contribute to the development and execution of personalized care plans for the individuals under your care. It will be essential to provide holistic support, including education, leisure activities, and assistance with daily routines, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the young children.

Requirements for the role:
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare or above
  • Proven experience working as a Support Worker in a Children's Residential setting
  • In-depth knowledge of therapeutic interventions and regulatory standards
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and dedication to promoting a secure environment for young individuals.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting and empowering young individuals.
