About the Role:
idverde is seeking a passionate and skilled Lead Climbing Arborist to join our team in Bath. In this role, you will perform advanced tree work, including pruning, removals, and stump grinding, while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards. You will also conduct tree inspections, and risk assessments, and safely remove hazardous trees and stumps. If you have a positive, energetic attitude and take pride in your work, we'd love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced tree work, focusing on safety and quality.
  • Conduct tree inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
  • Safely remove hazardous trees and stumps, adhering to industry regulations.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure safety.
  • Utilise climbing and aerial rescue techniques as vital parts of the role.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory:
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Tree Climbing and Rescue (CS38)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting (CS30)
Advantageous
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm (CS31)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 3, Aerial Tree Rigging (CS41)
Desirable: City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Freefall Techniques. Relevant arboricultural experience with a commitment to safety and quality. A positive, energetic, and flexible attitude, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
