The Position: Social Media Marketing Officer
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing Officer to join our marketing team at NWSLC. The digital marketing officer is responsible for planning, creating, and implementing the digital communication strategy and activity across NWSLC channels and maintaining and growing the college’s social media presence across multiple brand outposts via organic and paid social activity.
The role will also work with the digital team leader to deliver digital campaigns to meet recruitment targets set as part of the marketing plan. This will include developing and implementing content marketing campaigns appropriate to the channel being used, monitoring social media channels to respond appropriately to posts/ comments and working closely with external agencies to support the implementation of paid social media campaigns.

Requirements for the role:
We are looking for someone who is proactive, flexible and a hardworking team player who can manage their own workload on a day-to-day basis to successfully meet deadlines.
A good eye for detail and be good at building strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
Experience of developing, writing, and editing high quality, engaging communications for a wide range of audiences and channels
Experience of working with a range of social media channels, optimising content across different platforms
Experience of managing and reporting on Social Paid / Search and Display campaigns for both prospecting and remarketing approaches
Experience of analysing and reporting on online user behaviour practice using web analytics and other appropriate data
Responsibilities for the role:
Develop social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
Assist the team leader and work with the digital team to implement the college’s digital communication strategy and plans to increase admissions, student and stakeholder engagement as well as broadening the awareness, reputation and visibility of NWSLC externally.
To develop, deliver and manage paid digital marketing campaigns (Social Paid, Display and Search) with the marketing team to advise on the best approach for campaigns.
The Location:
The site is based in Nuneaton but with travel to our other campuses. This is a great place to live with plenty of social and other facilities together with great transport links.
