Your new role

Operating as a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer with expertise in Magento 2, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining feature-rich, high-performance web applications for the B2B, B2C and Distributor platforms. You will work closely with the cross-functional team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of robust e-commerce solutions.

Magento 2 Development:

  • Lead the development and customisation of Magento 2-based e-commerce applications.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement responsive and user-friendly front-end solutions.

Headless CMS Integration:

  • Implement and integrate Headless CMS solutions to enhance the flexibility and scalability of the web applications.
  • Ensure seamless communication between the CMS and the front-end using best practices and industry standards.

Hygraph Expertise:

  • Utilise Hygraph to enhance the performance and efficiency of web applications.
  • Implement and optimise Hygraph components for optimal user experience.

React Development:

  • Develop responsive, interactive, and dynamic user interfaces using React.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and intuitive front-end components.

GraphQL Implementation:

  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs to facilitate efficient and flexible data retrieval.
  • Optimise data fetching strategies to enhance the overall performance of the applications.

API Development:

  • Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless integration between different systems and platforms.
  • Ensure API security, documentation, and adherence to industry best practices.

Adobe Cloud:

  • Leverage Adobe Cloud services for multimedia content creation and management.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to integrate Adobe Cloud assets into web applications.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

  • Maintain high code quality through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
  • Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Magento 2, Headless CMS, Hygraph, React, GraphQL, API development, and Adobe Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of B2B, B2C, and Distributors website functionality and requirements.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Jira and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
