My client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented UAT Tester to join the team towards the end of our Finance Project. This project involves transitioning our financial services from a third-party provider to TechnologyOne. The UAT Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and functionality of the new system.
Key Responsibilities:

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
    Conduct thorough UAT to ensure the new TechnologyOne system meets all functional and business requirements
  • Test Planning:
    Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.
  • Defect Management:
    Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and end-users to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Reporting:
    Generate comprehensive test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders, highlighting any risks or issues.
  • Training Support:
    Assist in the development of user training materials and provide support during user training sessions.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure all testing activities comply with council policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    Proven experience in UAT, preferably within the public sector or finance projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    Familiarity with TechnologyOne or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Team Player:
    Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Adaptability:
    Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
