Summary

OperationalFocus Work with Head of Joint Commissioning or Programme managers and Clinical Director to determine the produce business plans to support commissioning intentions. Develop and deliver in-house projects, savings objectives, and service transformation. The post holder will be the Hounslow lead for the Dynamic Support Register (DSR)meetings, Local Area Emergency protocol (LAEP) and Care, Education, and Treatment reviews. Chairing and leading on other meetings in line with Children and Young People complex care needs, e.g. Mental Health etc Collaborative working is essential. Building string relationships across the whole system. Review and evaluates interagency processes and where identified, leads on BBP development projects to improve practise. This is enabled by the integrated nature of the post and the strong established relationships with local partners. Follow procurement and governance steps in commissioning, changing, or decommissioning services. Support the local contract monitoring against budgets, drawing on the resources and expertise of the central contract and quality teams as required. Ensure that robust service specifications in respect of all commissioned Childrens and Maternity services are in place ensuring that quality and cost are defined and measurable. Take appropriate action when provider performance is unsatisfactory and agree an action plan to bring service Senior Delivery in line with contract. Work closely with complex care teams and emergency care commissioners to identify trends that suggest a need to revise the scope and manner of locally commissioned services. Participate in budget management arrangements and be responsible for monitoring and controlling expenditure in agreed areas. Produce accurate timely reports against budget, highlight any financial risks, and recommend mitigating actions. Ensure evidence for assurance is gathered, reported systematically through appropriate governance routes, and available to support relevant inspections. Prepare and present relevant reports as appropriate.. Ensure external data submissions are made in a timely manner.
