We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Gynaecology Scrub Practitioner to join our team, where you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients. In this role, you will provide exceptional care in surgical settings, focusing on gynaecological procedures.

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner qualification.
  • Valid and clear NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Proven and substantial experience in gynaecology surgical settings, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the specific challenges and requirements of these procedures.
  • A strong command of sterile technique and infection control protocols, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that are essential for fostering positive patient interactions and effective teamwork.


As a Gynaecology Scrub Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing the operating room by ensuring all surgical equipment is sterile, properly set up, and ready for use
  • Assisting the surgical team during a variety of gynaecological procedures, including surgeries and examinations
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff in the operating room
  • Providing compassionate and supportive care to gynaecology patients, offering emotional support before, during, and after procedures
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care for gynaecology patients
