A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Somerset Area!

With no day ever being the same the Civil Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender process with project description, technical specifications, drawings, price to prepare technical specifications and basic engineering for tender process (civil, mechanical or electrical)
  • Analyze and discuss suppliers offers and prepare technical information and comparison tables for investment expenditure proposals
  • Prepare basic engineering for project feasibility studies
  • Monitor and analyze the risk assessment studies of the new projects

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Concrete industry experience - necessary
  • Experience working in a civil, mechanical or electrical engineering position previously
  • Experience working to budgets and scheduling work
  • Experience with site layouts and flow-sheets
  • Hugh health and safety awareness
