37 Hours Per Week - Week 1 Monday to Friday, Week 2 Monday to Thursday - Every Second Friday Off
Product Development Engineer required for an industry leading supplier of manufacturing machinery with a reputation of global excellence. This is a great opportunity to join a company with a worldwide presence who are truly committed to developing their staff.
This role would suit an experienced mechanical design engineer with experience designing special purpose machinery, however candidates from any industry background are encouraged to apply. You will also need experience producing detailed drawings and geometrical tolerancing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and development of special purpose automation machinery and their prototypes. The role will involve the use of SolidWorks and you will ensure designs comply with specifications and safety regulations.
The Product Development Engineer Role:
• Mechanical design using SolidWorks
• Working on special purpose machinery
• Support all aspects of new product development from initial concept to delivery
• Support and lead design reviews
• Development of prototype test plans
The Product Development Engineer Candidate:
• Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer
