Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Holy Cross Catholic Primary School is a nurturing school serving children from our Catholic community as well as local children, and those from other faiths and cultures, whose parents would like a Catholic education for their children.

The pastoral support manager will help and support children and their families in reducing barriers to learning which may occur as a result of something that is happening at school or at home

We will offer the successful applicants a happy, welcoming and supportive team where everyone is committed to staff development and raising standards for all in an enjoyable and purposeful environment.

Skills and Experience

Qualified to at least GCSE level or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics to Grade 4 or above

Experience of working with young people in an educational environment.

Experience of working with young people

Awareness of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality and data protection

Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour

Excellent behaviour management skills
