We're on the lookout for around thirty passionate Application Analysts to join our Epic Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme Implementation team starting January 2025! As an Epic EPR Application Analyst, you'll be integral to configuring key Epic modules, including: Inpatients Order Entry Pharmacy (with electronic prescribing and stock control) Anaesthetics/Theatres/Intensive Care Maternity Pathology (UHP only) Outpatients Emergency Department Community Care (TSDFT only) Patient Administration System (PAS) modules Who We're Looking For: Diverse Backgrounds: We welcome applicants from various NHS disciplines--clinical, operational, support functions, and IT. Tech Enthusiasts: Those with excellent IT and communication skills, a strong desire to learn, and a genuine interest in improving patient care through Epic EPR. Organisational Pros: Individuals with exceptional organisational and planning skills, ready to deliver effective and integrated EPR solutions on time and within budget. As an Application Coordinator / Analyst you will play an integral part in ensuring the Epic EPR will be configured in the most appropriate way to suit the clinical transformation required as part of this One Devon Implementation. You will work closely with clinical, operational and admin colleagues from across Torbay and South Devon, Royal Devon, University Hospitals Plymouth as part of the One Devon Implementation Team ensuring Epic is implemented to deliver care in both a clinically and financially sustainable way throughout Devon. What You'll Do: Configure with Precision: Work within dedicated teams to configure your assigned module, ensuring it meets best practice standards and integrates seamlessly with other modules. Learn and Grow: Receive comprehensive training while on the job, mastering new systems and technologies in a fast-paced environment. Drive Excellence: Apply your IT, clinical, operational, or administrative knowledge to enhance patient pathways and deliver high-quality EPR solutions. Career Growth: Available as a secondment or fixed-term contract until September 2026, with potential for extension or permanent roles. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Interview Date: To be confirmed Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
