Job description


  • Teaching BTEC Business and AAT
  • A degree in either Business or AAT, would be suitable to teach the role- perfect part time opportunity
  • Working for an FE College in Greater Manchester





Responsibilities of Business and AAT Lecturer:

  • Working in the Business Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
  • Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
  • Delivery of BTEC

Core Purpose:

  • To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation,
  • recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
  • To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal
  • growth



Requirements of a Business and AAT Lecturer:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
  • Experience of delivering the subject.
  • A Business or AAT related Degree is essential
  • A current DBS on the update service
