Summary

Job: Quality and Information Administrator
Location: Primarily home-based, with occasional travel to various campuses
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, normal office hours with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Pay: £16.57 per hour
Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Starting: ASAP

We are seeking a Quality and Information Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role primarily involves working from home, with occasional campus attendance as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, administration, and quality assurance, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with other QIAs and the MIS team to ensure consistent management of student and statistical information within specific curriculum areas.
- Collaborate with the Faculty Senior Curriculum Administrator and Student Advisor to ensure smooth operational administration services on campus.
- Input, review, audit, and update student records accurately in the database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with student record management.
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation regarding student information and records.
- Liaise with curriculum and administrative staff to produce accurate course setup summaries and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare course timetables and maintain up-to-date data throughout the session.
- Support the Quality Assurance and Examinations Manager to comply with awarding body requirements, including registrations, withdrawals, and results.
- Monitor and report on Performance Indicator data (e.g., student withdrawals, success rates) and contribute to curriculum team meetings to address actions.
- Administer quality and FES return questionnaires, summarizing and collating information from returned data.
- Liaise with external agencies and participate in internal audits as required.
- Assist in reviewing and implementing standardized internal procedures and documentation.
- Undertake relevant training and updates provided by the MIS Enhancement Manager and Data Services Manager.

Requirements:

- PVG for Children is required prior to starting the role. If successful, the cost of £59 will apply.
- Experience in data management, student records, and ensuring data compliance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using databases and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of data protection legislation and its application within education settings.
