You will be a key member of the Surrey Prisons Performance and Administration team supporting Healthcare and play an important role in ensuring accurate and high quality data is collected and collated for service reports. Quality data collection is required for commissioning purposes for the service as well as ensuring the requirements are met for both local and national standards.

By joining our Healthcare service in the Surrey Prisons you will provide essential administration and high-quality data support to the clinical teams. This role is pivotal in supporting: patient safety, risk management, clinical guidelines and quality improvement.

Our healthcare services work to a 7 day week working model, to ensure our patient's healthcare is managed and maintained to the highest of standards at all times.

• This role has responsibilities aimed at maintaining the quality of data held within the Trust’s clinical systems (e.g. SystmOne, Nebula ) for Healthcare services in the Surrey Prisons. This will include auditing patient health records, data entry / data corrections.
• The post-holder will support the completion and monitoring of Subject Access Requests.
• The post requires a resilient, methodical thinker with excellent problem solving skills.
• The post holder will work as an integral part of the Performance and Administration team, supporting Primary Care, Mental Health and Substance Misuse services within Surrey Prisons. The role will include some general administrative responsibilities for the team.

• Work with clinical services and support functions to enable high quality data entry requirements across the system in line with local and national standards

• Follow Trust procedures and protocols when inputting data into clinical systems

• Liaise with internal teams, for example Clinical Services, Business and Transformationand Digital Skills as and when required

• Inform line manager as soon as possible of any new data quality issues which become apparent.

• Carry out audits of patient health records, identifying data quality issues and work with the serviceadministratorsand cliniciansto support with improving processes, to avoid a recurrence.

• Assist with training new members of staff when required

• Contribute to the maintenance of a suite of Data Quality Team reports

• Handle all patient identifiable data in a secure and appropriate manner and to always apply Information Governance principles

• Use the Trust’s Business Intelligence solution (Tableau) to source information as required

• Act as a Tableau ‘champion’, supporting services to get the best possible outcomes from this BI solution

• Provide general administrative support as needed by the team

• Support with meeting administration as required

• Completion of Subject Access Requests

• Support with clinical systems user queries
