Summary

Job title: BIM Coordinator

Based from: Dronfield

Reports to: BIM Team Leader

Salary: Up to £42,000 - depending on experience



The Role



As the BIM Coordinator you will join our busy BIM Team to support the BIM Team Leader with BIM coordination and the delivery of BIM models for complex fire, life safety, electronic security systems and network infrastructure.



Duties and Responsibilities

-Coordinating and managing all BIM requirements in projects

-Delegating tasks to BIM Technicians

-Liaising and collaborating with clients and external stakeholders

-Creating internal clash reports

-Attending BIM coordination meetings

-Setting up models

-Ensuring links in models are updated weekly

-Performing CAD checks

-Exporting & uploading models to CDE

-Working closely with technicians

-Supporting and guiding BIM Technicians about project specifics

-Disseminating information from BIM execution plans

Person Specification

Essential

-Previous BIM coordination experience

-Computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages

-Prior experience working with 2D & 3D software

-Excellent attention to detail

-Good verbal and written communication skills

-To be honest, trustworthy and to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to finance and tenders

-Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies

-Ability to work using your own initiative







Desirable

-Previous experience within a related field

-Previous experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit

-Experience using AutoDesk Construction Cloud

-Experience using Revit MEP

-Recognised BIM qualification

-Proficiency in a European language is desirable but not essential

Working Conditions

The role is based in our Dronfield office, which is an open plan office environment with multi-screen computer use. On occasion the role may require you to attend our other offices.
