Workshop ManagerLocation: Stoke on TrentSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM As our Workshop Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth operation of our clients workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in joinery or woodworking, coupled with experience in using CNC machines. You will coordinate closely with both the workshop and sales teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precise and high-quality products.Drive a forklift truck (FLT) around the workshop to transport materials and products.Coordinate job orders between the workshop and sales team, ensuring clear communication and timely completion of projects.Develop and propose new ideas to improve processes, products, and overall workshop efficiency.Occasionally travel to client sites or other company locations as required.Requirements:Proven experience in joinery or woodworking.Proficiency in operating CNC machinery.Valid FLT license and experience in driving forklifts.Strong organisational and coordination skills.Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and other departments.Valid driving license and willingness to travel as needed.What We Offer:Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and supportive work environment.The chance to work with a talented and dedicated team.This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Appointments Personnel who are acting as an employment agency.
