Summary

TheSpecialist Mental Health Learning Disability Serviceis an exciting newteamthat will transform the support mechanisms for children and young people with a learning disability.The new service will be based atErleghHousewhich is situatedon theReading University campus.

• The postholder will support the effective operation of Specialist Mental Health Learning Disability Service by providing organisational,administrativeand secretarial support to the Consultant Psychiatrist,Principal ClinicalPsychologistand the team.

• The postholder is expected to act on their own initiativeon a daily basisto ensure the effective running of the service, prioritising their own workload asrequired.

• They will liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, externalorganisationsand the public, dealing with confidential information inan appropriate manner.

Themust haves for this role:


1.NVQ4 or equivalent qualification /experience.


2.Good IT skills, with an ability to navigate around various systems and software packages, such as Outlook, MS Office, theinternetand databases.


3.Previousknowledge and experience of working in a busy office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties
