As a patient referral coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the administrative aspects of care for adults, children, and young people, ensuring the seamless operation of our services. Your dedication to providing an outstanding patient experience will drive you to perform tasks with precision and accuracy. You will consistently exhibit professionalism and care when interacting with patients via phone and email. You will be coordinating with various stakeholders, including clinicians, patients, and managers within Xyla.

Our mental health support team provides a wide range of mental health services to support the NHS and local authorities across the UK. Our goal is to make sure everyone gets the help they need quickly and easily. We provide people with adult digital mental health support, children and young people digital mental health support, group mental health support and mental health assessments.

Every day you will…

Process Children and Adult referrals with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Work with large volumes in a timely and accurate manner.
Be the first point of contact for all patients and parents and action queries in a timely manner whilst going above and beyond to deliver excellent patient experience at every opportunity.
Liaise with GP surgeries/ health care professionals for onward referrals.
Communicate regularly with all key stakeholders including clients, patients and team members, ensuring they are kept up to date on any necessary information at all times.
Work alongside internal staff to facilitate the smooth induction of therapists when required.
Update patient records on the system in a clear, concise yet informative tone.

To thrive in this role, you must have…

Previous experience in an office-based customer/administration role
Excellent IT Skills - proficiency in Microsoft packages, mainly Excel and Outlook
A genuine interest and passion for healthcare and mental health
