Nurse RGN - Neuro Rehab
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse RGN specialized in Neuro Rehabilitation to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the recovery and rehabilitation process of patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other related disorders. As a Nurse RGN in Neuro Rehab, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and neuropsychologists to create personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Your expertise will not only ensure that patients receive the best possible medical care but also provide emotional support and encouragement throughout their recovery journey. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects or complications.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on their rehabilitation goals.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, rehabilitation exercises, and ongoing care.
Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in compliance with clinical standards.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
Requirements
Valid RGN nursing registration with a recognized nursing board.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in neuro rehabilitation or a similar field.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environmental with various healthcare professionals.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient care needs simultaneously.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices in neuro rehabilitation.

End Time: 08:00
