Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker/Health Care Assistant for our Neuro Rehabilitation unit. In this rewarding role, you will play a critical part in assisting patients with varying degrees of neurological conditions, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Our team focuses on providing personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals, to deliver holistic support. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring their progress, and documenting changes in their condition. Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Monitor and record patients' vital signs and any changes in their condition.
Support patients in participating in recreational activities and therapies.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment to enhance patient care.
Document patient progress and report any concerns to the nursing team.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Support Worker or Health Care Assistant is preferred.
Hold a relevant qualification in health care or support work.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Empathy and compassion when dealing with patients with neurological conditions.
Basic first aid and CPR certification.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

End Time: 20:00
Pay Per Hour: £11.44
