Summary
The purpose of the Senior Project Administrator is to ensure the provision of comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support to the research project and its team. The team includes Prof Justin Sheffield (Southampton), Dr Paul Hurley (Southampton), Prof Damian Maye (U of Gloucestershire), Prof Christina Vogel (City University), Dr Sarah Lambton (Bristol), Dominic Watters (U of Southampton), Oistein Thorsen (FAI Farms) and Samantha Green (Applied Group). It is also to apply judgement and provide detailed, specialist advice and guidance as required.
To organise internal and external events, ensuring all activities run efficiently by co-ordinating diaries, booking venues, and supplying relevant information.
To support internal and external project communications.
To undertake financial and research administration processes and provide support to management with budget monitoring processes.
To provide secretarial/P.A. services to the project lead where required, including the co-ordination of diaries, arranging and servicing meetings, filtering problems and enquiries, drafting and issue of documentation, organisation of events and attending meetings on behalf of the manager as appropriate.
