Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthused registered nurse who has a keen interest in becoming a diabetic specialist nurse. We are wanting to upskill the right candidate to complete a diabetic course and work towards insulin initiation and complex diabetic consultations. Our work ethos is to train you with ongoing preceptorship encouraging professional specialist development. The Cedars is a friendly and family run GP surgery based in Worle, Weston-Super-Mare and is part of the Pier Health Group and we are looking for someone who is keen to become part of our close-knit team. Initially we would like to employ the right candidate for 10 hours a week to complete the relevant course. Once qualified the hours will be reviewed to suit the demands of the surgery and the evolving diabetic team. This post is an exciting opportunity to develop in patient centered diabetic care and holds long term progression. This would be a good opportunity for nurses who would like to undertake further training while working in a second job and would also suit newly qualified nurses well.
