Short Summary

Our Full Stack Developers support both front end and back-end development of our software products that assist Healthcare Professionals to improve Patient Outcomes, through the design and delivery of data management services and systems.

Working as part of an agile development team you will participate in the team’s lifecycle; you will be suggesting improvements that ensures our customers have total confidence in our products.

You should be curious and keen to experiment with emerging technologies, and feed in your ideas about how we can continually evolve our software products to ensure we remain at the forefront of healthcare software. An understanding of cyber security and developing code using secure tools is vital.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Getting code into production: Ability to get code of all types—including new features, configuration changes, bug fixes, and experiments—into production, or into the hands of users, safely and quickly in a sustainable way.
Collaboration: Works jointly with others to co-create and achieve a common goal. This includes learning, practising and experimenting with tools, techniques and frameworks that foster collaborative working environments.
Front end development: Ability to update and modernise the existing user-facing application to be scalable, maintainable, secure, aesthetic and usable within the constraints imposed by the target deployment environments.
Backend development: Ability to write, maintain and design the business logic of a software application, the data or services requested are available as well as create and maintain the core databases, data and application program interfaces (APIs) to other backend processes.

What experience do I need:

Experience in Java 8+, Java SE, PostgreSQL (14+)
Previous experience in a similar role
Desired Experience:

Knowledge of NHS and Primary Care clinical systems
Linux/Unix
Healthcare Interoperability Standards (HL7v2)
OIDC & OAuth 2
PL SQL
Packaged libraries (Packaged via nexus) and managed by the host application by injecting data and by through application settings
