Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Website Administrator & Content Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the content on the End the Fear website and ensuring it remains a valuable resource for survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Your key responsibilities will include writing and curating content, creating newsletters, and maintaining the overall quality and accuracy of our site.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development: Write, edit, and publish informative and engaging content for the End the Fear website, including articles, blog posts, survivor stories, and resource guides.
Newsletter Creation: Design, write, and distribute our regular newsletters, ensuring that they are informative, relevant, and supportive of our mission.
Website Management: Regularly update website content to ensure all information is current, accurate, and aligned with our mission. This includes adding new resources, updating event information, and ensuring links and pages are functioning correctly.
Collaborative Projects: Work closely with our team to develop and implement content strategies that raise awareness and support survivors.
User Engagement: Monitor website analytics and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that our content meets the needs of our audience.
Social Media Support: Occasionally assist with content creation for our social media platforms to help promote our website and engage with our community.
Qualifications:
Experience in content writing, website administration, or digital communications.
Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, empathy, and sensitivity.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
Understanding of issues related to domestic violence and abuse is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
