A new exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver private family law services. We are looking for a full-time Private Family Law Solicitor to join our Legal Team on a permanent basis. The role will include managing the set up and development of the department. We are looking for someone who:
• Has excellent communication skills
• Can manage own time effectively with a keen eye for detail
• Can complete tasks to the highest quality
• Can monitor and maintain own standards ensuring work is accurate
• Is experienced in working with a diverse range of people and providing a welcoming environment for clients
• Has 5 years PQE

Responsibilities / Key Tasks:
• To manage and develop a new family law department with support from the Head of the Legal Department
• To network with internal departments and external agencies
• To provide a high-quality legal service to all clients.
• Represent clients in tribunals and in courts where required.
• Supervise a small team of caseworkers as required.
• To record advice and stats to a high standard
• To meet targets set by the Head of the legal department in relation to personal and team billing

The essentials:
• Salary – £45,000- £50,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid Working –a few days per week from one of our offices (Derby, Swadlincote and Tamworth), a few days from home depending on service needs.
