Summary

Seeking Support Workers, with a real zest for life, in Cardiff, CF3 and CF23

- £12.00 per hour; sleep nights are paid at £50 per night

- Full-time or part-time hours

- Shifts available: early shifts, late shifts & sleep night shifts

- It is essential that you hold a full UK or EU or Designated Country Driving Licence to be able to apply, as the people you will be supporting ask that you are able to drive their mobility vehicles

One of our Cardiff managers, who very rarely has a need to recruit, is looking to bolster his support teams over the coming month due to new people moving into the homes he manages.

He is looking for proactive and caring people to join his experienced colleagues, across five homes in Cardiff. You will be supporting people with both learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

Each person asks that you have some 'get-up-and-go', with a real zest for life, so you can encourage and enable them to make the most of each & every day.

You will be genuinely empathic and able to communicate effectively, with compassion and understanding, as some of the people you will be supporting use either very few, or no, words to communicate - but are very, very able to express themselves in other ways, to be sure you will know what they want!

Every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower each person to be actively engaged in every aspect of their daily lives - this will include accompanying to favoured activities, supporting with daily living skills, administering medication and supporting with personal care and mobility assistance, if needed.
