Summary

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Community Partnerships team. The team provides a link between the Council and all elements of the local community and voluntary, charity, faith, and social enterprise sectors. You will be engaging with the public at all levels and working with a range of community groups to support them to sustainably provide activities and services that meet the needs of local people. Key responsibilities include coordinating community network events, advising on and processing grant applications, coordinating and reporting to the Community Forums.

The Experience you will bring
You will have experience in community engagement or working with voluntary, charity, faith, or social enterprise sectors.

You’ll possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse community groups.

You’ll have good organisational skills to coordinate events and manage multiple tasks.

You will need some experience of grant application processes and reporting.

You’ll have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You will need proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
