Summary
You will design and lead the delivery of a strategy to support NHS organisations, and influence national policy, as our members strive to develop, embed and scale innovation, as well as: Developing insightful, evidence-based, member-informed policy positions, recommendations and thought leadership as the NHS role in the sector develops. Scoping, project-managing and delivering new projects and partnerships with the government, NHS England and industry Developing high-quality policy and communications products and representing the NHS Confederation externally in this area of policy. Leading a portfolio of work and the development of a high performing team that has a commitment to excellence, optimises its capacity and skills, and can evidence impact.About you You have an understanding and are passionate about innovation and life sciences in the health sector, bringing subject matter expertise and anticipating the next big thing in national policy and representing the views and needs of the NHS. Along with having great communication skills, you: Have expertise and experience in rapidly developing analysis, compelling policy narratives and thought leadership. Can effectively design, project manage and deliver a mixed portfolio of policy and commercial work, on time and within scope Are personally credible and influential with senior stakeholder, with a track record of building networks and partnerships. Are able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead others in delivering a mixed portfolio of policy work.
