Summary
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are seeking a number of Concrete Production Operatives to work within a busy concrete manufacturing plant in Pinxton and Alfreton.
These are temporary to permanent opportunities with immediate starts available. Concrete experience is highly desirable, but not essential!
Your Role:
Working within a busy manufacturing concrete plant, your duties will include:
• Supporting with setting the moulds, ready for concrete pouring.
• Applying and removing fixtures and fittings, using hand held tools.
• Reading and following basic engineers drawings.
• Heavy lifting.
• Some labouring duties - moving products around the production area.
• Quality checking products to ensure they are up to spec.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and policies.
About You:
• Previous concrete / mould setting experience is highly desirable.
• Confident in using a range of hand tools and power tools.
• Self motivated, team player.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and working within a dusty environment.
• Great levels of English speaking, reading and understanding.
• Happy to work to production deadlines.
• Great attention to detail.
The Pay:
£11.44 per hour
The Hours:
6:00am-2:00pm or 5:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Friday.
